Known as the “Father of Modern Indian Art,” Raja Ravi Varma was a pioneer whose work was defined by the blending of European technique with traditional Indian subject matter and motifs. His iconic depictions of Indian gods, goddesses, and mythological tales created an indelible impact on Indian aesthetics. During his lifetime, prints of religious iconography made by him found their way into almost every Indian home, and today, decades after his time, his masterpieces continue to fetch millions in the international art market.
The workshop will include:
